About COC

Clash of clans is an addictive strategy game. It is more successful than another strategy game called BOOM BEACH also developed by Supercell because of the idea of clan.

In this article we will show town hall 1 and town hall 2 farming base which you’ll get right after you download the game and start playing. But before getting started you should know a couple of things that will give you a clear idea about this game.

In this game you can team up with a clan and participate in 10-10, 15-15, 20-20 up to 50-50 war. Every clan can have at most 50 members. A Clan Castle is needed for creating or joining a Clan. It is a castle that houses troops which you can use for placing reinforcement troopss during an attack, or use troops as defenders when your base is under attack. But when you start this game at town hall 1 you will have your clan castle broken. It will cost 10,000 gold to rebuild. But you’ll require town hall level 3 to build a clan castle as your storage won’t have that much space in TH1 or TH2.

FIrst time COC

When you start playing COC for first time you will find your village with nothing but a town hall and some obstacles. TH Level 1 allows you to place down 1 gold mine and elixir collector, as well as 1 storage per each, 1 barracks and 1 army camp. Elixirs are used to train troops, upgrade troops when you get a laboratory and making spells when you have a spell factory. Gold are used to build/upgrade buildings, walls etc.

Aside from gold and elixir, the game also uses gems as a currency. Do Not Waste GEMS! Give them time to finish construction. You will find gems after clearing obstacles and completing achievements. But you should use gems only for getting your builders. Initially you’ll get one builder. You’ll have 500 gems left. You have to get your 2nd builder when you’re playing the tutorial. The 3rd builder will cost 500 gems. But don’t worry, if you don’t waste gems you can have even 4th builder in couple of weeks. We’ll explain that technique later.

You end up at Town Hall level 2 by the end of the article. After upgrading your town hall to level 2, You’ll get 1 barrack, 1 gold mine, 1 elixir collector, an archer tower, 25 walls. You can actually farm some at Town Hall 2 before upgrading – it is very easy. All you have to do is make 20-30 Barbarians (be sure to upgrade your Army Camp to hold 30 units as soon as you can) and then start attacking others. Look for villages with exposed resources and just drop your Barbarians right on top of the resources. You can easily loot to cap within a raid or two. Do not worry about losing your shield

I recommend you to max out everything before upgrading to your next town hall level, so that you’ll be the toughest opponent for those who’ll attack you. And your resources will get the maximum security. As for town hall 2, you can max out your gold mines and elixir collectors to level 4, Both storages to level 3, barracks to level 4 and army camp to level 2. You’ll upgrade your cannon, archer tower and wall to level 2 as well.

Upgrading barrack to level 4 will give you some new kinds of troops. They are Archers, Giants and Goblins. But it is recommended that you will use only barbarins in this stage because they cost less to train and can take more damage than archers/goblins.

Once you have maxed out your base you will upgrade your town hall to level 3. It will cost 4000 gold and 3 hours. In the mean time you should attack other’s bases and make your storage full so that when you get to the next town hall you’ll be able to build/upgrade your defence in a shorter time.

On my next article I’ll show you town hall 3 farming base, base design and attack technique. Till then keep clashing!
