The Dark Spell Factory produces the Dark Elixir to create spells that are used in clan wars. These spells includes Poison, Earthquake and Haste spells.
The Poison Spell generates a toxic cloud that turns opponent’s troops to slow down and drains their health. The Earthquake Spell makes a rapid succession of rattling movement to buildings and walls which causes decrease on opponent’s hitpoints on the walls and buildings. The Haste Spell gives rapidity of motion to troops.
In upgrading to Town hall 8 your defenses are now much stronger than the previous town hall. It gives you three wizard towers, five archer towers, four cannons, three Air defenses and four Mortars. It also provides you with two Dark Barracks, two storages and one Dark Elixir Storage. Traps like Skeleton traps and Tesla are also included. Additional Giant bombs and ordinary bombs are also provided.
If we talk about Troops, Pekka in the barracks and, Golem and Valkyrie in the dark barracks are unlocked. They can be used in some battles or war. But, in using these troops, we must have enough dark elixir in order to train these troops in the dark barracks.
When we reached TOWN HALL 8, we can use Ground Troops Attack.
The first attack is called the GOWIPE, the troop combination of Golem, Wizard and Pekka. It also includes wall breaker troops plus a breakdown of spells. (rage, heal, poison, earthquake, haste, etc )
On this attack, first, pull out the troops in the clan castle of the opponent and kill it with the help of wizards or poison spell. Then, deploy the two golems on the two other side of the opponent’s base. The golem’s first target is the opponent’s defenses. After that, deploy the wizards, pekka and wall breakers to destroy the exterior buildings and the walls. This type of ground troops attack can easily be understand but, it is much harder to control. The troops best way is to practice using this type of ground troops attack.
The second Strategy of ground troops attack is the HOGS ATTACK. It uses level 4 Hogs, wizards and archers. It also uses a barbarian king.
Just like the Gowipe attack, first thing to do is to pull out the troops inside the clan castle of the opponent. After killing the opponent’s troops inside the clan castle, deploy all the hogs in one line only. The strength of the hogs is very powerful if they can go the same target and position their first target in the opponent’s defenses. After deploying all the hogs, place your wizards and archers. Also, put your barbarian king for cleaning the remaining buildings.
The following are some tips for TH8 trophy base.
Use Gold and Elixir Storages and, the Dark Elixir storage as a loot shield to protect the core with the Town Hall. The Town Hall must be wrapped by the walls and surrounded by air defense, mortar and wizard tower. Outer Base must be protected by the archer tower.
Three Tesla’s and Archer towers are one of the best defenses in this base. The second layer with Wizard tower and Air Defenses are for defending against all air raids. Also, Mortar and King are perfect to protect your base from being barched, even with maxed troops. Almost all buildings must be wrapped by the walls.
Barbarians and Archers are very important troops in Clash of clans because, it is used for farming gold/elixirs and Dark elixirs. But when we reached Town hall 8, the barchers (barbarian and archers) can reach new levels and even new look. But in Th8 only level 5 can be reached by the barchers.
