You can leave your clan anytime by clicking on the clan castle.
Then hit the clan option.
On the upper right part, you can see a red button that says “leave” which enables you to leave your clan.
When you hit the leave button, it will need to confirm your decision if you really want to leave your current clan, just press okay to confirm.
Being in a strong clan is very advantageous when requesting high level troops for war.
Jumping from clan to clan is not advisable though.
Keep in mind that you have to meet the clan’s requirements when you want to join another clan.
